I was just remembering when we lived on Logren Drive in Surrey and we had a really bad thunder & lightning storm. Dad had told me that you were safe if you were driving in the car because the rubber tires would ground you. I was very afraid of these storms and one night we had a doozy! Randy & our cousins, Reg & Bonnie, had all the drapes open and thought it was the best thing ever. I begged Dad until he finally took me for a car ride. There I was safe with my Dad and four rubber tires under me.
